Fundamentals of sustainability reporting including key principles, frameworks, and future trends. Participants will craft a compelling pitch for reporting that can convince decision-makers internally.

  • Welcome and introduction: Covering cohort, outcomes, instructors, and structure

  • Key principles: Covering materiality, assurance, stakeholder inclusiveness, and compatibility

  • Commonalities: Commonalities between frameworks and their interoperability with ESRS

Sebastian is a sustainability professional with more than 20 years of work experience in decarbonisation through renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. He has designed and executed utility-scale and rooftop PV projects in several countries. In addition, he has worked with private and public sector entities including working with banks in financing renewable energy projects by conducting environmental impact assessment studies and resource assessments.

Education has remained a cornerstone of Dr. O'Carroll's work. Beyond lecturing, he has curated multiple sustainability workshops and seminars, mentors post-graduate students, and guest lectured at other prestigious institutions.
